[Solved] Export track as 24 bit wave file problem - help!

I have Sonar X3E and am trying to export a mono track (acoustic guitar) as a 24 bit wave file and have it flown in to a commercial facility.....the export appeared fine...I played it back in Windows Media Player and the bit rate of the file says 1058 kbps

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Probably nothing. I just exported a mono track @ 44.1/24bit. Windows reports the exported file bit rate is 1058kbps. Bring the exported wave in to any wave editor and it shows the file is Mono 44.1/24bit.

scook is right. If i says 1058 kbps, that's mono/24-bit/44.1kHz.

It would be helpful if the Windows properties for audio files included bit depth and sample rate...guess we need to put in a "feature request" to Microsoft

This was a feature of Windows XP that got dropped.  I'm not sure whether it was present in Vista too.
