[Solved] How Do I Turn Off Plug-In Scans?

Hey All--
 
In previous versions I used to be able to turn on and off the auto-scan of plug-ins when I start Sonar, but I can't seem to find that option in X3.
 
Anyone?

    The recommended default is to leave background scans on but if you insist on turning it off, go to Preferences>VST and select the option you want.

    Thanks. It seems like the only issue is when UAD had a new version. All the demos get loaded in the list. I'd like to turn it on after I've installed a new plug in.

    I looked in the location you're referring to before my post. I didn't see it there. Are there any more granular things I should be looking for?

    Yeh! The problem with being on an iPad for most of my internet stuff is not having such ready access to images and even when they are available there's lots of hoops to jump through to post them.
