[Solved] How to Re-install or clean install Sonar Platinum

I have Sonar Platinum which has been working fine for the past year or so.  I recently ran the update as well as installed an IZOTOPE Neutron plugin and since then have had nothing but problems with Sonar crashing.   All was working fine including the Izotope plugin.  Then I decided to go back to some older projects... copied their folders to my main drive drive but when I opened them Sonar crashed .  Since then i've had nothing but trouble... sometimes reboot works but its doing my head in as all I want to do is get on with them projects...

Have tried uninstalling but all i can find is uninstalls for the previous version of x2 and x3 (which I have uninstalled).  I've run command center but it seems to think all is fine.
Now when I open up any project it comes up with error messages saying it cant find various plugins and crashes

Have messaged Cakewalk Support but no response yet..

I want to do a clean install, but dont want to have to format windows to do it...
Am using WIN 10
Any ideas? PLEASE

Did you try a rollback?? That's seems to work for many as there's been a lot of talk about this latest version being a dud.
Older versions show in the control panel Programs and features list, anything installed with CCC will not.
You can completly un install from CCC if you click on the version and a pop up will give you the Uninstall option there.
I just un installed my original version of Professional that way.
I do beleieve this is not a clean un install but I would try a roll back first.
If that doesn't work I would then uninstall and re install using CCC.
If that doesn't work follow instrunctions in link provided by scook.

Thanks so much to you guys for such a prompt response... I'm going to try rolling back.. (didn't know I could do that) then if that fails to solve it I will do a complete uninstall together with those registry edits and see if that works.

Here's hoping

Oh dear... I've re-installed as detailed on the support pages and the projects do appear to open fine now ... but all of the Start Up Screen templates have disappeared... So I cant create new projects... URG.
Anyone any ideas?

SONAR looks in the path specified in Preferences > File > Folder Locations "Templates" for project templates. The default location is "C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR Platinum\Project Templates." Project files have a .cwt extension (for example Basic.cwt) if you need to search for them. If they are really missing, re-run the installer.
