[Solved] Making Groove clips halves the tempo?

[Solved] Making Groove clips halves the tempo?

I have an audio section 1 bar long I'd like to make into a groove clip.
When I do any of the help methods, the clip becomes a groove clip but at half speed, and doubling the length.
Sometimes I have been successful at this but I don't know what the difference is.

    Enter the correct number of beats in the Loop Construction window's Beats field. Sonar doesn't always guess this right.
