[Solved] Midi notes Skipping

I just upgraded my Platinum onto a windows 10 system. Now, my midi bass track is skipping notes during playback. Any suggestions? I had this happen in windows 7 and fixed it by changing a valu in preferences, but that was a while ago and can't remember.

Just found it. Adjusted the Milisecond Buffers from 250 to 750 and the skipping stopped.

Good job hunting down the solution on you own. Just for the record, there's probably nothing wrong with bumping the Prepare Using buffer up to 750ms, but the old pre-X1 default of 500 is sufficient in most cases. The more recent default of 250 is too low in a lot of cases - more dependent on project content, audio buffer size (including PDC if any) and tempo than on system performance.
