[Solved] Omnisphere 2 won't work as simple instrument track

Any idea why I can't get any sound out of omnisphere 2 when I insert it as a simple instrument track (have checked all routing and midi etc).  The only way I can get it to work is to set up a midi source track and an associated First synth audio outpur stereo audio track which just clutters up my screens.  I much prefer using simple instrument tracks

Thanks

Works here.  Are you selecting a MIDI channel for the output side?  If you do, make sure it matches the channel used in Omnisphere.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.

Ha, not stupidity... I only knew to check that after sitting at the computer a couple of times wondering why I couldn't get sound out of Omnisphere... forgot it once or twice even after the first time I figured it out. :)
