[Solved] PRV shows numbers at left hand side, not piano key layout, why ...?

I open the PRV and on the left hand side I almost always see the piano layout.
But lately I always see numbers.  I want to switch back to the piano layout thats most familiar to me.
How do you do that?

I have Sonar 6XL Home

Right-click where your arrow is pointing, choose Use the Assigned Instrument Settings, click OK. This is also where you can choose numbers if you want to switch back.

I shudder to think of the amount of poking around you've done in Sonar to know about so much of this stuff, Craig. You are certainly The Man.

Note values displayed in the PRV will always change to numbers when you freeze a synth.

You can also select "Use These Note Names Instead" as shown in Craig's graphic and choose Diatonic from the dropdown to display the piano keys, even after freezing.

Thanks everyone, - I did freeze my synth.   This solution worked.  : )

I've learned a lot from the forum...like freezing a synth changes to note numbers! Never realized that before.
