[Solved] Platinum Ignoring Automation

This is strange. Tracks I had done in X3 included some pan and volume automation. I brought up those projects in Platinum and it ignores the automation..... Anyone else encounter this? It's got to be some silly switch somewhere...

UPDATE: I pulled up the project in X3 and the automation isn't working there, either. I'm lost... I still think it's something simple that I haven't found...

Do you have read automation enabled ? I am talking about the box right under the track name box. It has R for and W for write.

There is also a global read enable/disable button up in the control bar ,could be that is engaged. You want it lit up to read automation.

I toggled the "O". No go
I ensured the "R" was enabled. No go
I toggled the Global O. No go
I finally toggled OFF the Envelope/Offset Mode on the control bar. That fixed it. Thank You!
I wonder why the "O" shortcut didn't work...
    Thanks again!

Depends on the version of SONAR. The letter "O" is not bound to anything in SONAR Platinum.

I believe that was done on purpose because of the large number of posts on this forum where people hit O accidentally, ended up in offset mode, and thought automation wasn't working.

Good decision in my book. Something as vital yet unobtrusive shouldn't be a single key shortcut.
