[Solved: Re-Download] Drum replacer update - seems to be wrong version downloading
<< EDIT: Updated title to better reflect what we're discovering as the thread goes on >> Just messing around with this. The release notes say "To specify a velocity for the user marker, click an inserted user marker and drag up or down. The cursor will be replaced by a value shown next to the user marker, which will remain until releasing the mouse button" It's not doing that for me. Both left and right click delete the marker. Is this a setting thing, or me misunderstanding, or something else?

I'm also not seeing the sample offset line mentioned in the document. In fact, it doesn't look like the update in the screen shots; the new layout isn't all there. I have some features, like the user marker lane, and the new midi notes. But the midi note select is still over on the right, unlike in the images in the PDF.

Same here! And I cannot switch the filter to "off".

Right. I'm guessing some kind of mismatch between the version that's gone out and the version that's been documented, then.

IDK, the features all seem there for me. The Command Center shows I have DR 1.1.0.11 installed

I installed the updates top down, so DR was last.

A VST reset clears the VST inventory in the registry, then rebuilds it based on the plug-ins found in the VST scan path. It does not alter the physical location of plug-ins.

Sorry, my english! I was talking about the paths for the VST scan. And no, they don't get lost. But: the VST reset did not change anything.

I made a copy of the vst3 in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal\Drum Replacer" and renamed it with a .dll extension. The file version shows 1.1.0.26 in the details tab of file properties.

At this stage can only think of two things. 1) Operator error 2) Maybe something to do with the sample itself. Perhaps the sample format... 3) Try it with a new project. Stage exit left...

Yes, if the vst3 is correctly installed, this is a tech support issue.

If you are in no rush there may be further feedback here from other users over the next 48 hours.. We've got two people repro'ing the same issue here after all which theoretically defines it as a bug... But without any decent steps to repro..

Scook, can you confirm that you have the specific features we've mentioned as missing? Which are: user marker velocity; sample offset line; off setting on frequency knob.

The documentation reflects what's going on here. I tried downloading and reinstalling to see if maybe there was some problem with the current install, but it's working as expected. Not quite sure what I can suggest.

Sure, here is an image where I was reducing the velocity of a user marker to 42, filter is off and sample offset (in red box).

Maybe uninstall, make sure the vst3 is gone from "Shared Utilities\Internal\Drum Replacer" then reinstall.
