[Solved] Show Two Plugins at Once

So, I guess my only real complaint upgrading from 7 to X3 and then Producer is that I can't figure out how to have more than one plug-in open at the same time (except for the Quadcurve EQ which has the handy "pin" icon). In 7 plug-ins stayed open until you closed them, which is my prefered behavior. In X3 I could ctrl-click and open new plug-ins keeping the visible ones open. Now, though, I've tried every combination of clicks I can think of but opening a plug-in closes the one currently open.

Is there a way to keep both open at once? Often I'm adjusting two interacting plugs and it's a pain to have to keep going back and forth. Also, at the end of a project I like to document the mix on my blog and take screenshots of many of the channels.

Does this still work?

If you have "recycle plugin windows" checked in VST settings (in Sonar preferences) . . . you can hold down Ctrl key while launching that second plugin. (Also handy to use the X-ray feature to make them transparent when switching to another Sonar item like Console or Track Views, then making them visible again when done . . . I have X bound as a keyboard shortcut for this)

Edit . . . sorry, the "recycle plugin windows" was a fairly recent addition, so if you're still running X3 Producer, it's probably not available ?

I'm not sure what version you're currently using, but Platinum has a pin icon on the far right of the vst properties bar  in every plugin window. Also in Platinum as noynekker stated, enabling the recycle plugin windows setting will enable the ctrl+click behavior you mentioned.

My bad, guys - when I said Producer I meant Platinum.

But, aha! I see the pin. Thanks for the help!
