[Solved] Simultaneously playing drums and a soft synth with a controller

Hello,
I hope that someone can help me with this problem, which will be so obvious once I understand the answer!
I've got a drum track (EZ Drummer) set up and a soft synth track (IK Multimedia Miroslav Orchestra) and am using a Korg Kontrol49 via a Roland Quad Capture Audio Interface.
Everything is fine, apart from...
... When I play the Miroslav soft-synth through the controller, I hear the soft synth playing properly but also hear a drum or cymbal sound when I hit each key on the controller. This is obviously a bit annoying! (If I open the Miroslav user interface and mouse-click on the Miroslav keyboard displayed on the monitor, I don't hear any drums / cymbals).
Can anyone please give me some advice?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Do you have forced "Input echo" on EZ Track? It is normally in automatic mode, so it is enabled when the track is selected and disabled otherwise. But it is possible to enable it permanently. The effect is going to be what you observe (it is useful when you really want play both instruments at the same time using different controllers).

Is each MIDI track on a different channel?

Thanks for your replies. I had the input echo active on the EZ track (Durr!). One click turned it off and my problem was solved. Thanks again !
