[Solved] Sonar X3e Browser Loop Audition Issues

Tried searching Google and this forum, so many apologies if this has been answered a million times over.

Running stand alone machine (i7-970, Win 7, lotsa RAM, ASIO, updated drivers).  No issues running big projects.  No latency issues.

When I open the Browser and selection audition some of the loops (Cakewalk provided content (wav files, I think)), the snares (for example) sound very "buzzy" and play incorrectly.  If I pull the loop into the project it sounds just fine.

Also saw this issue with wavs I purchased from looploft.  Using RX files works just fine.

Weird.  So, any ideas? (and thank you.)

Is it because the volume's too loud for the audition channel when auditioning the loops?

What do you mean by "play incorrectly"?

The Volume (an audition Bus) in the Normal Cakewalk Project setup is OK.  I usually turn it down a bit, in fact.

Sorry that I can't describe the sound better (buzzy, fast stuttering) (at first I thought that the sounds were just really cool loop snare sounds that were designed that way - LOL).  I'll try and sample an output this evening and upload the sound to soundcloud for you to hear.

Try deselecting "Preview At Host Tempo" in the browser Media tab menu.

^ yes that's probably what it is. I wish there was a button instead of having to go into the right click menu to toggle that option on or off. I guess you could always make a keyboard shortcut.
