[Solved] VST Scan Hangs on TH2 Producer at Startup, Doesn't Register

Symptoms: VST Scan hangs at TH2 Producer, and it doesn't show up in the list of plug-ins in plug-in manager, even though it installs in the right folder and the folder is in the scan path. This is a problem if you have any projects that use TH2 Producer.
 
The fix: Here's what fixed it on my system. Apparently this happens if the full version of TH2 is installed. I excluded TH2, closed SONAR, and re-opened. It then scanned and registered TH2 Producer. I went back into plug-in manager and re-enabled TH2, and both became available.

    Other than if I received a project with it in there, why do I need TH2  Producer when I have the full boat TH2?

    Will the "Anterton" Collection not work in the full TH2?

    I don't believe FX Chains are smart enough to swap the full version for TH2 Producer.

    Some effects chains require that the version of TH2 that came with SONAR (Artist, Professional. or Platinum) be installed.

    Then the same could be said for Breverb SONAR, ReMatrix Solo et. al. IF and I do mean IF they are included in an FX Chain?

    Probably. Haven't used those in any FX chains yet, my goal is to make ones that are compatible across all versions of SONAR as much as possible...although I'm sure I'll also make some Platinum specific ones and so on.
     
    However, I don't want to dwell on this too much for reasons that will likely become clear in the second quarter. Too far away to say anything definitive, but close enough to say something's brewing.
     
    And please, don't any troll person come in here and talk about "empty promises." I've already done my part of the job and now it goes to the next group of people to finish it. What I have works. The question isn't whether it will come out, the question is when.

    I had an installation problem with Sonar Platinum that caused TH2 full version to disappear from my plug-ins.  I could only access TH2 Producer.  I used the reset all plug-ins option in the manager, then rescanned and my full version showed up again.
