Solved... Vintage Channel, VC-64 and V-Vocal

Hi,

Reinstalling Sonar X3 on new system. As I open older projects, three VSTs are missing:

- VC-64
- V-Vocal
- Vintage Channel

I read on the forum that I need to re-run older Sonar install and select the VSTs.

It's a bit of lazy man's question but since I have purchased so many versions of Sonar, could anyone point to which version I could find those plugins.

Thanks,
Super Newbie

Ok....

I used my X2 Producer disks and found/install VC-64 and Vintage Channel.

But nowhere during the install did I see the option to install the V-Vocal. so the plugin is still missing in my older project...

What did it miss??

V-Vocal is not a separately installable. In order to get V-Vocal installed, the X2 SONAR Producer executable must be installed. IIRC, it is the first check box at the top of the advanced install list of components.

Adding the X2 executable and supporting files is not that big a hit on the HD, less than 200MB and most of the files can be manually deleted if necessary. Definitely worth the trouble (just another run of the X2 advanced install) if you use V-Vocal.
