( Solved? )What syncs the track display to Now Time?

I have hours of editing to do and Sonar is fighting me hard. Editing is tedious enough without gap filling, but now I can't get the track display to move with the now time or between markers. The display scrolls fine on playback but if the transport is stopped and I try to navigate, the track view is stationary. What is my mistake?

PS
Bakers, please get that ripple editing out the door. Sonar is a bear the way things sit right now.

I think it's always been like that. And pressing scroll lock releases it ( I think)
Myself I just stop and start using the spacebar. And off it goes again. I don't even think about it.
But I'll agree I'd rather it always followed, especially in PRV.

I've been setting markers thinking that they would speed things up. Unfortunately when you tell Sonar to go to marker 3 it goes there, the now time in the transport changes but the track view doesn't budge. Markers are useless now and I was sure it was working well last month. I'm on the December release.

I know you probably already checked it but this does sound like a classic case of the "Pause /Break" or "Scroll lock" being engaged on your keyboard.

double check the Pause/Break button and the Scroll lock button directly above the Home / page up / page down keys.

I don't know Chuck. I had checked that last night but today everything is back to normal. Another transient mystery.

    Thanks for the help.
