[Solved] X3 treating my 1080p display as 720p

My laptop display is 1080p, but I noticed when I go into sonar I was losing a bunch of screen real estate.  For example the console view gets clipped at the top and I have to scroll to get to the top.  However if I go out of the HDMI port to an external monitor everything looks great.  If I try to do dual view on my laptop it goes back to where the console is off the screen.

I have both Intel 4000 and NVidia 740M graphics on the laptop.

...and incase someone asks, yes my Windows setting are set to 1920x1080

Solved the issue, it's a Windows setting.  Right click on the desktop and go to "screen resolution", then at the bottom of the screen you'll see "Make text and other items larger or smaller".  Click that and drag the slider all the way to smaller.  When you go into sonar you'll have full screen resolution again.

Programs rarely ever affect system settings that way. It's almost always a computer setting.

Ha ha!  Not sure what happened there.  I went to post an there were all these replies. lol!

I figured it was a computer setting, but I didn't know what it was.  I thought it was strange that when I went to my external monitor everything was fine, but when I duplicate the display from my laptop that it would mess up again.
