[Solved] mono to stereo

Hi guys (not sure if I'm using the correct terms) I have recorded a guitar part but it's not stereo(ie it's not in both speakers) how can I change it so it can heard on both sides?

    Use Channel tools to mix the one side into both channels

    Another thing is it sounds as if you recorded the part using the "stereo" input when it is really only on one channel (side). When you arm a track, check the input to make sure that both bars on the meter move prior to recording (choose either the "LEFT" or "RIGHT" channel - whichever moves both meter bars).

    A couple of points.
     
    First, how did you record your guitar?
     
    If you recorded it using a mic/amp setup then you'll have a single, mono track in sonar - not a stereo one.
    You should still be able to pan this anywhere you want in the stereo field provided the track interleave is set to Mono.
     
    If you recorded via some sort of Pod device then what you get in Sonar could be mono or stereo depending on how you routed the inputs. If you used separate L/R cables then you'll get stereo but again, you need to check the track interleave which should of course now be set to stereo. Now your Pan control will act more like Balance control found on home stereo systems.

    I made a mistake recording it... Channel tools seems to be working thanx guys
