Bounce the track using "Split Mono" Channel Format.

From the track menu, "select bounce to track". From the dialogue box that opens, choose "mono", and your new bounced track will be bounced to mono.

Good luck

Why not just right-mouse-click on the track clip and select "convert to mono"?
