[Solved]Which Version of Cakewalk do I had in 2000/2001?? Does anybody remember MCP Files?

Hi there:)

I have to open some Files from 2000/2001, but these Files are ".MCP"
I'm sure these are Wave Files packed with some Software like "Wavepack" or "Flac", but I can't remember it:(

Which Version of Cakewalk did I have in these days?? Why the hell I had not made Bundles?

Thanks a lot:)
Bassman.

    Probably sonar 1.3 iirc or could have been 2.0. I thought the project files should be wrk files.

    Just a bit googling I found that
    http://filext.com/file-extension/MCP
    According your information it should be MUSICompress files.

    @Tom Riggs

    There are cwp files, I hope I can read them with SPlat, if not, I saved all my PCs I ever had, so there must be the right Software on one of them, puuuuuh.......

    @Adq

    Thank you! Over Musicompress with google I came to WaveZIP. This software I have in my archieves, so it must be that!

    Thanks a lot, I'll try this one.

    Hi again:)

    Forget all, I made my old archieves with "Whereisit" . And in there I just can see MCP files.
    Now I found that I don't have these DVDs again but I have made newer Backup DL DVDs (8.5G) from all old 4,7 DVDs and compressed them with "Wavepack" . In addition I have all old DVDs on BlueRay Discs now. I couldn't remember this....was searching the whole house for this old DVDs:(

    So all is fine! Nothing got lost:) I got Wavepack on my actual PC...
    I should actualize my archieves !

    Thanks;)
