Well, welcome.  This is a tough crowd.  Especially for Metal.  But it IS better than any other forum on the net, if quality is a priority, this is the forum to learn from.  If you have any questions about anything to do with any Sonar Products...........someone here knows the answer.

The music sounds promising, I'll give you  that.  The writing is very good in IMO.  But the snare is really out of whack.  There are tons of vidz on Utube about snare mixing.  There is no magic bullet   Your going to have to find one that cuts through, but doesn't overpower your guitar sound.

    Good luck and keep posting.

Welcome to the forum! Not an expert on metal, but I know what I like and this is good stuff (Journey Never Ends). Very tasty guitar and keyboard work. Mix sounds pretty good to me, and the breakdown into the solo at 3:00 was very nicely done.

You have heavy metal nailed.  Thanks for putting up the lyrics, they're good.  Without them I would have had no idea what you were singing about.  The vocals are good enough to be louder.

    All the best,

It is nice to hear fellow musicians critique and opinion !  Yea i think i need to work a little more on the snare sound man , this is one thing i love about recording , everything you make a new track , you learn something new and make some little improvement !  I look forward to hearing all your stuff and hanging out at the forum ! hey dude! welcome i enjoyed your stuff. some great riffs on this one. you clearly have a passion for that Swedish/NWOBHM cross stuff a la Arch Enemy or Grand Magus, and this is well done. I thought the vox were very good, you have a distinctive death growl. harmony guitars were well played. Keyboards added a little something. Drums need a little work, but a great platform.

Good start. Keep working at it. Snare sounds to "thuddy" to me. Needs some crack (try the transient tool maybe).

Main guitars sound like they are in the back of the room to me. But maybe that's the sound you want.
