Some SONAR Assests Missing?

Hi, all,
 
like many of you, I also wanted to back up the final version of SONAR Platinum. However, some of its assets do not seem to be downloadable anymore, namely these ones:
 
Anderton Collection
Cakewalk Loopmasters Content Collection
Cakewalk Sample Magic Content Collection
Cakewalk X-MiX Content Collection
 
I can see these items in my Control Center and they are undoubtedly installed on my machine. However, I deleted the installation files and now I cannot find them anywhere. They are not listed on the "My Products" page on the Cakewalk web and when I try to "Reinstall" them through CCC, the installation fails since CCC obviously cannot fetch those files.
 
Does anybody have the same (or a similar) problem?

    Check on your PC to see if they're in here:
    • Computer > Local Disk (C:) > ProgramData > Cakewalk > Command Centre > Downloads

    Hi, Steve,
     
    unfortunately, not. They are not there since I previously deleted almost all the installation files from within CCC in order to spare space. Would you be so kind to look at your "My Products" web page whether you can see the mentioned assets in the list? I suspect that these files are currently not available on the Cakewalk server for anybody.

    Sorry Miroslav, I missed that in your OP.
     
    I've checked and I don't have those available in My Products either.

    Mine are.
     
    If you go into the CCC and open up the "tree" under SONAR Platinum, you'll find them there.

    Actually, scrub that. Even though there's an icon for it clicking ti and selecting "reinstall" does nothing and it says "your installation did not complete", suggesting they are not on the server to download.

    I've just found that the files that I could not download were on a backup (I have a home server with daily backups) which was from July (by accident, as normally backups older than 3 months are cleaned up to free up space). Thank you the oddities of Windows Server Essentials client backup! Now making sure I archive this all off to a separate hard disk locked away in a file and water-proof box!!!
     
    On the above, if you've installed them in the past, you should be able to find them still:
    • The Cakewalk Loopmasters Content Collection, Sample Magic Content Collection and X-MiX Content Collection should all land up in your Audio files (Cakewalk Content\Audio Library\Loops). Not 100% sure if this is the only location (but pretty likely)
    • The Anderton Collection is more difficult as it is a combination of various FX chains, presets, and other bits and pieces. Again not 100% sure exactly what is in this pack.
    Without the installers, one option to keep all of this type of stuff would be to archive (copy, backup or zip) the whole of the Cakewalk Content folder (wherever you have configured this to be stored) somewhere, and also think about the copying/backing up the whole of the C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk folder (which includes Control Centre\Downloads).
     
    This will take up a reasonable amount of space (mine looks like around 100GB, so not huge by today's standards) and will of course depend on any third party loops and presets you might have also bought and installed in these locations. But well worth it to protect you in the future.
