Some problems with X2 & X2a.... SOLVED!!

I read that I could install X2 along side of my 8.5 and I did.

1st)  I noticed that if I have a screenset with a synth dialog (property page), no matter where I put the synth on the page, it docks to the upper-left corner when I return to that screenset. (Tested with Ivory II, Kontact Player, Drop Zone).

2nd) And this is a doozy!  With screenset #1 selected (not sure if that matters), I turn on Auto Track Zoom, sort the track heights the way I want them and then SAVE the project.... I can shut down X2a, re-open the project and It looks like I never changed anything AND Auto Track Zoom is OFF?!?!?!

I haven't seen any other posts about these issues.  Any ideas?  Do you suppose this has something to do with 8.5 still on the computer?

I have noticed the issue that you describe in #1 when using 32bit VSTi's like Dropzone. Bridged instruments do not remember the positions on the screen. That does not happen when using 64bit synths.

Thanks Scook!!! Yup, I verified that it was just 32bit softsynths with the problem! I'm embarrassed to say that the other problem was because I simply had a lock on my screenset :-/ Thanks again!
