Yeah, it is sorta like a blues tinged theme song for when the bat lights up the sky.  
 
Goof stuff as usual, Freddy. 
 
For those vocal harmonies... I think they could use more panning too, they kind of sit of top of each other.

Wow, this is kind of a departure for you, at least in my mind.  In the sense that it goes different than I expect.
 
That riff is very unique, and the vocals are cool
 
I would love to hear it with a more minimal lead guitar there in the middle

Hi Tom.  You caught it!  I was hoping someone would!  I was hoping that my little joke would not have gone worng.  BATMAN  --- you're right.  Ha! --- it does have a bit of that sound.  I'm always impressed how you can analyze songs and offer a suggestion that is always right.  I went to the low harmony track and messed about with the gain on the 200 Hz level.  I think that might have helped but I don't have your ears.  Thanks for listening and thanks for your suggestion.

Hey Mark.  Thank you.  I really appreciate your encouragement.  Have I ever made a stinker?  Boy have I!!!!  Several!!!  Just scroll down my SoundClick page and they are there.  Thanks to the members on this forum, y'all have gently and kindly suggested improvements to be made.  I have learned much on this forum and my learning curve remains almost exponential.

Hi Laura. First of all thanks for listening and for your comments.  I appreciate your comment about the live feel to the song.  Actually that is a conscience effort.  While I appreciate the skill and talent of those who can make a highly engineered song, I am one who in my younger days didn't attend many large concerts but appreciated the efforts of those playing the smaller clubs.  On most songs I try to get that feel.  I don't know if it works but I am trying techniques such as: keeping the DR numbers at around 8 or higher; limiting the amount of orchestration on the Blues, Rock, and Rockabilly; and not to being too perfect in the performance (this last technique requires no effort on my part); etc.  Thank you again.

Yeah I like this one, too. It's the song as well as your style, kind of easy going and not too serious, not to mention your expert  playing. Good subject matter. I heard that batman thing in there too and maybe a little Catscratch Fever? (well probably just me). Anyway, good stuff.  I always give you a listen.
