Sometimes It Rains

Hi Everybody,
This is the first track on my new double album that I've been working on.  It's titled "Incessant Absurdity".  I hope you like it.

Man I love the timing on this, really cool main riff too.  Top notch, seriously.  Has a nice live feel to me, airy and mellow.

The piano sounds a little out of tune, though.  It's a nice melody there, but it just sounds slightly off.  Maybe it's just me.

I like the chorus more than anything. Nice blending of the BG vox. I have to agree with Voda though about the piano and guitars not being in tune together. Maybe you could use a plugin to stretch the pitch in one of them? One other suggestion, providing you may work on it more in the future--this line: "Will my destiny be met" sounds like it has one too many syllables in it. I think it would work better if you changed "destiny" to a two syllable word like "future" or "Kismit". Just an idea. Anyway, good job on the song!

This is a really great tune. You sure do sound like Jagger. Well done - really enjoyed this one.

eph221 - Thanks for listening and I appreciate you complementing my lyrics.  I usually go with the first draft of what comes to mind.
Voda La Void - Thanks for giving my song a listen and for your compliments.  I can adjust the pitch of the keys - it's Dim Pro.  To me it sounds ok, but I'll give it a few more listens.  Regarding the groove, I was lucky to find some good midi grooves for the song - GrooveMonkee jazz loops. I bought the AD2 jazz brushes and sticks kits especially for this song (I wasn't sure which one I was going to use).
Wayfarer - Thanks for listening - I don't want to change the lyrics since it's already done, but you had some good suggestions nevertheless.  I think "destiny" sounds ok in that section, just my opinion.
MarkusClinus - Thanks for the compliments - I appreciate it.

bapu - Thanks for listening.  Yeah, the piano sounds fine to me to - I guess it's right on the edge of being in tune.
