Sona LE has lost its transport module in the cotrol bar and won't start recording

Hello, my Sonar Sonar LE (on Windows 7 with a Nord Lead 3 on USB Midi 2.0) has lost its transport module in the control bar and won't start recording.  This should have been pretty simple (with all the midi input output boxes ticked) but I can't find any help search bar, in order to get Sonar recording or playing notes on the staff view module.
can anybody help or direct me (as the arm track button is on) but no start button is anywhere?

Thank you,

The default shortcut for record is the "R" key. The shortcut to toggle the control bar is "C". You may have hit that accidently. If the "C" key does not bring up the control bar, then you probably have loaded a lense that excludes it. Try setting lenses to "none".

Sorry, nevermind. There are no lenses in LE. Right click in the control bar and make sure the playback module is enabled. Regardless the "R" key is the shortcut for record.

I once hit Shift-C and it basically minimized the control bar, turning it all into menus. So you might try C or Shift-C.
