Sonar 2.0 Staff View???

I need some help with the staff view. I am a musician, currently writing some drum parts for a high school. I open a normal new project, select staff view and begin to write out my song. Once I'm done writing, how do I get to hear it? Can someone give me any advice?

Thanks,
Matt

Staff view is midi. Do you have a midi controller?

Staff view is in fact midi. All you have to do to hear it is insert a soft synth to play the music.

go to my web site and follow the steps in MC4... insert a soft synth. It walks you through step by step. It assumes that you have an external inteface....so if you're using the internal card in a laptop or desktop it will be slightly different..... and if so... you may also encounter latency with the synth sounds..... but that's a whole different issue.

for now...go to my site and see if that will work for you.
