Sonar 2017.06 impressions thread - stability/bugs etc

Just curious to know your general experiences about the 2017.06 release. Is it stable and good to go? No major bugs?

Thanx!

So far using the new update (since early access) 2017.06 has been good! Using a number of plug-ins and the various Sonar options, I've had only good results, no lockups/freezes no errors of any kind.

    So far so good.

I ran a recording/editing session yesterday which included live takes, mulitiple FX plugins and a selection of virtual synths without any problems. It seems very stable to me.

Many reported problems are system-specific, and some don't apply to what I do. So I just install the update. I only needed to roll back once, when upsampling messed with tempo changes during real-time bounces (or maybe it was fast bounces, I don't remember). I think the rollback option makes it easy to verify operation on your system, with your workflow and types of projects.

    Rollback works as advertised.

2017.06 has been locking up on me.  Click on a track number, lockup, but not always.  Randomly click in the TV, lockup, but not always.  I was starting a mix last night and I had about six lockups where I had to Cntl-Alt-Dlt to get out of Sonar.  I ended up rolling back to .05.  I also noticed that the mouse pointer issue was still rearing it's ugly head.

It seems very solid to me. I do have one issue its about loading projects. It seems slower. However, I can't be sure at this early point.

Very solid here. Only thing I noticed was the quick grouping feature for picking colors on multiple tracks isn't working. (A small detail in my opinion) other than that, Friday I managed an 8 hour session with stellar results.
I didn't notice an increase in high performance or anything, but I have not noticed a change in stability.
I also haven't noticed any of the mouse pointer issues others have seen (I consider myself lucky).
All in all though, runs just as smooth as last months update and that one ran great.

Cool, thanks for your reports everyone!

I'll try it out, even though Jackson White had comping issues (I rarely comp) and Paul G had freezing issues (hope I'll be spared). Sure, roll-back has been smooth and rather quick for me previously, but even faster is avoiding issues by skipping an update in the first place, Anderton. ;)

I'm not sure if my VSL sidechain has issues. It seems to overload the signal and kill Sonar. Other than that besides the general crash now and then (probably because I'm overloading things). It seems OK.

    I have computer stuff.
