Sonar 3 bundle issue

I have been using Sonar 3 Producer for years and never had problems. During a recent project, I was working on a song for awhile and never had any problems. Today I go to open it and it tells me "this project is not compatabile with this version of sonar," though nothing has changed. I can't, for the life of me figure out what the deal is. Any chance of restoring it?? HELP!!

does your back-up open??? You do have a back-up, right??? IT may be corrupted, if thats the case its lost for ever ( i hate bundles) always use CWP and per project folders) Or it could be that something got changed in sonar, like the sample rate. I hope its the ladder of the 2.

Try opening it in safe mode... hold down the shift key while clicking on File-Open.

Same here. If you do use them you must always make two copies an un-bundle both of them to make sure they worked prior to deleting the original material.

I hope you have another copy somewhere ... I actually lost some old work by making only one and not trying it. That's how I came up with the rule of thumb.

    well I wouldn't say it's "lost forever"..
rename your bundle-file to *.wav and listen to it.. now the funny part begins
(at least it restores your wav-files..)

it's strange how often this message "this project is not compatabile with this version of sonar" appears here..
