Sonar 32 and Ram

Can a 32 bit version of SONAR, running in a 64 bit environment,  access all of the RAM that Win7 64bit OS accesses ?

ASUS P8P67, i7-2600K, CORSAIR 16GB, HIS 5450, 3 Samsung SSD 850, Win7 64, RME AIO.

    Thanks Scott.

So, in other words, a 32 bit app running in a 64 bit OS, cannot access more than 3.5 ish gigs of ram?? (without Vienna).

And, can the app access the full 3.5 ish gigs wherein any Ram needed by the OS will be a separate allocation?

Windows (32-bit) can access a maximum of 3¼GB of RAM, but Sonar can only make use of up to 2GB of it.  Try opening Task Manager and watching the RAM usage while adding large audio files to a Sonar project.  See what happens when it reaches 2GB.

win7 is a tad diferent in how it addresses ram
technically you have access to the full 4 gig but the system obviously needs some
minimum recommended for win7 64 is 6 gig
