Sonar 4.0.3 Issue

It keeps telling me that I have to have Sonar 4 for this to
work.

Is that true ?

Can't I install a 4 patch on Sonar 3 ?

Why Not ?

    You can install a patch on clothing, but with todays demands is is not likely to be necessary

    Many folk have had success in install Sonar 3 patches to update 4.0.0
