Sonar 5 - Double-clicking midi clips shifts Piano Roll view

In Sonar 5, if I repeated double-click on a Midi clip in the Track View, the notes within the Piano Roll view shift up and down.

The notes don't actually transpose, but note range within the Piano Roll view shifts up or down every time I double-click a clip in the Track View.

This never happened (for me) in Sonar 4, 3, 2, or 1. I could double-click repeated on a clip in the Track View and the Piano Roll View would remain stable.

Has anyone else noticed this (apparent) bug?

Is there a workaround?

I reverted to Sonar 4 and the problem went away.

Does the shifting of the piano roll sound like a "bug" or some feature of Sonar 5 that I don't understand?

If 2 clips are layered on top of each other (in the Track View), will double-clicking on them cause the Piano Roll to cycle through them, "centering" on whatever data resides in the current clip? Could this explain the shifting?
