Sonar 6 and Behringer BCF2000
Waz up everyone? I have a question.. The Behringer manual is not very clear at all in this aspect.. but how do I program the BCF2000 (fader model) to control Sonar 6 eqs? I got it to control the pan, volume, mutes, play, stop, fast forward, rewind.. But I can't get it to control the eq, I still have to use the mouse.. All help is very much welcomed... Thanks ~T~

Here's what I'd do: 1. Get Midiyoke from http://www.midiox.com/zip/myokent74.exe (use 1.74 and not 1.75) -Free 2. Download McMU from http://www.wisemix.com/ - Free 3. Follow the install instructions from wisemix and you have a virtual MCU (using the BFC2000) with on screen track/midi transmission info. I don't have a BFC2000 but if I did this is how I'd use it with SONAR. Peace. T.

I use Mackie Control mode. In the group of four buttons up to the right, ordinarily I use the lower left mode (pan), because I find it more useful than the upper right (track) mode. For the EQ mode, I switch to the upper left button mode (EQ). This will control the per track EQ. I have only seen it to work on four of the six bands, but it's pretty cool to use just for those. It basically transforms the sliders into the amplitude of the EQ band, and the knob at the top of the strip controls the Frequency. I think something controls the Q as well, but I can't recall off the top of my head. This mode is good to use for sweeping an eq for the spot you are looking for. It's easy to take your eyes off the screen (closed even) and hone in on the sound, not even necessarily knowing where you are. It's a good perspective that really reminds you of how the visual aspect of things can sometimes wrongly influence EQ decisions, because I'll find that I'm surprised sometimes with what I had to change for it to actually sound like I wanted it to.

Seems like you were the first to "out" Modem Plug-ins. Now everyone seems to know. Now this. You are a prince.

need MCmu, too. I want to build a MCU for TouchOSC, might be handy to have a virtual mcu... does anybody know where I can get it?
