Sonar 7 tracks out of sync during playback

I am working on a project now with another fellow who lives a fair distance away and getting together in the same room is not practical right now . So he sends me a CWB. on a CDR of several audio tracks , I unpack the bundle with my Sonar 7 ( he is using 8.5) raw tracks no effects or plug ins. I have the guitar player come over to add some tracks ,and the tracks I record do not sync up with the tracks from the bundle during playback. I admit I am not a pro with Sonar , I am hope ful someone out there can help . All suggestions are greatly appreciated .thanks Frank

    1) When collaborating, always have a two measure click before the song starts. You can then align the imported audio with your own two measure click.
    2) Make sure you're both set to the same bit depth and sampling rate (that's probably the reason you're having synch problems)
    3) Make sure you're both using the same BPM (could also be the reason for synch drift)
