Sonar 7 won't play audio in Windows 7

I've been using various versions of Sonar since sonar 1. Sonar 7 has been installed on my Windows XP rig and running fine for a long time. I just installed Sonar 7 on my Dell Studio 15 laptop and nothing happens when I hit play in a project that contains only audio tracks. I can run midi tracks using the Windows midi output without issue. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Dell Studio 15 Laptop:
Intel Core I-5 processor
4 gigs DDR 3 ram
500 gig 7200 RPM HD
Windows 7 (64 Bit)

In console view check at the bottom of the tracks and make sure the ouput of the Audio tracks is set to your current sound card output or to the master bus and also if the master bus has its output is going to your current soundcard output.

Are the sample rates matching for the project.  Down on the very bottom of the Sonar GUI it will show the sample rate/bit rate eg 44.1/ 24 etc.   Does the rate there match up with your current sound card settings.  If it doesn't it won't play.  You will have to change your sound card settings to match the project settings.

Thanks Lorney. It turned out to be the sound card driver. I do appreciate the help.
