Sonar 7.02 and Win 7 64-bit

Has anyone here tried using Sonar 7.02 with Win 7 64 bit?

Does anyone know if this combination might work?

Thanks in advance,

I don't have S7 but it will work.  I do have S6 and S8 and they both work with win7x64.

Yeah, there's no reason why it shouldn't. Give it a go. The worst thing that might happen is that it won't work

And if all hell breaks loose on your DAW then you always have a system restore point to revert to. Make sure a recent one is made.

    Great News!!!

Sonar 7.02 (64 bit) works great on Windows 7 professional, 64 bit.  All of my softsynths are working fine too, other than Tera, which is a 32 bit synth, the others are 64 bit.  I am still looking for a way to run Tera.  The really good news, is that Windows 7 is going to be around for quite a while and since Sonar 7.02 is working great, I don't need to mess with X1, which has been a real nightmare for me. Bugs in the two views I use the most:  Staff and event list. I am thrilled that Sonar 7 is working on the new OS!

    Good news for you.

Just one final thought. Sonar 8.5.3 is/was a huge improvement over Sonar 7.

You can still find vendors selling 8.5 if you shop around.

Yeah- 8.3.1 DID work... but 8.5 was MADE for it... works way better! I highly recommend the upgrade to 8.5, just ask Cakewalk nicely- it's technically not for sale anymore.

    I really didn't like X1 either...
