Sonar 8 + Midikeyboard Problem... no Signal!

Hey everyone,

a few days ago I bought me the Line 6 Mobile Keys to use it as a masterkeyboard to a software synthesizer in mine Sonar 8 DAW . The device was recognized by Plug & Play from my laptop and by Sonar 8. But still I have no signal, unless I turn the keyboard on Midi Out, which doesn't make much sense. I use a Phonic Fyerfly 302 as a audio interface, which is connected on the laptop with a Firewire/PCMCIA card. Perhaps are the USB Port and my audiointerface coming amiss? What could be the problem, what do you think?
I hope you can help me!

THANKS!!
Lon

Have you inserted a soft synth to play the Midi sounds?
Insert a soft synth- example TTS-1
test your audio set up by opening the GUI for the TTS-1 and use the note icons to play a sample of the sound.
Then insert a MIDI track and set it's input to the Line 6 keyboard.
Set the Midi track output to the TTS-1
Set the focus on that track with input echo on.
