Sonar 8 Velocity in Piano Roll

Just curious here because it'd be a big help in recording/writing.

I have Superior Drummer 2 in my synth rack and it works fine when programming the different drums and cymbals in the piano roll. I actually really like using my midi tracks from Guitar Pro and throwing them in there and getting a nice sound. Here's the thing though.

Is there any way to randomize the velocity levels without having to go through every single drum/cymbal to make the drumming sound more human? Like from 123 then 127 then 115. Just to get the sound of harder or softer hitting.

Also are there any other programs I can use for midi editing but still use sonar and be able to link it to superior drummer?

I saw this site earlier today. Didn't look at the MidiTools much so don't know how helpful I am being but have a look.

Select your Midi track and then go Process > FX > Midi Fx (I think!! - not at my DAW)

There's a velocity tool in there which will do exactly what you want.

    Process>Midi Fx>Cakewalk FX>Velocity.

The Cakewalk Velocity tool has a randomize feature that will affect all selected notes.
