Sonar 8 to X1

Hi Guys
 
I had to uninstall  Sonar X1C due to my messing it up.
 
I will need to reinstall ver8,then do the updates,but can I
just install 8 then install X1c over it?

    X1C does NOT install "over" 8PE, or any other previous installation.

    It is a completely stand alone application.

    CbB, Platinum, 64 bit throughout

    Just found out why it won't install.

    Disc 3 file is missing,don't know how that happened.

    I have emailed Cakewalk as I downloaded X1C,but my password is corrupt
    and I can't get into my account.
