Sonar 8.5 + DigiDesign 003 no Go!

Well, for some reason I can't get the NOW TIME MARKER to move whenever I have a track routed to any 003 Rack ASIO outputs. Anybody else having this problem? I thought I had this working in the past. I can play back audio tracks, but the marker halts after .7 seconds. No MIDI tracks can be recorded or played back. Everything else works, but no marker motion... no work done.

Anybody else have this problem? I have installed the Avid standalone 8.0.3 DigiDesign audio drivers and the drivers for the 002 and 003 Rack. WinXP 2.3 GHz, 2 Gig RAM. MOTU MidiXPress ST.

Well, I'll answer my own question. I finally got some Digi drivers from the Avid site. They are supposed to have the ASIO drivers in them, but I never did get them to work at all with Sonar 8.5, though the drivers show up in the list. I have to use the WME drivers instead, but at least I can make music now. Attempting to use the ASIO drivers results in no motion of the Now-Time cursor, so the music sequence never advances.

It's been pretty well acknowledged over on the DUC that the CoreAudio drivers in Avid's PT software is messed up at least in versions earlier than PT9. So trying to use third party software like Sonar with an Avid audio interface is a crap shoot.
