Sonar 8.5 Producer - Session Drummer 3 won't play midi track

Sonar 8.5 Producer - Session Drummer 3 won't play midi track

I'm new to Sonar, just made the move from Cakewalk Pro Audio 9...

I have a multi-track midi project and have created a Session Drummer track. I dragged my midi drum track onto the SessionDrummer track and pressed play. I hear my midi piano, midi bass, etc., but the Session Drummer only plays the first note of the midi drum track. What have I done wrong?

    Try increasing the value in Options > Global > MIDI tab > Prepare Using <value> Millisecond Buffers from the default of 500 in increments of 100 up to maybe 1000. If for some reason it's much less than 500 now, start there.

    Double-click on the MIDI track to open it up in the piano roll. Do your events line up with Session Drummer's assigned drum pieces? Sounds like only the first one is lined up and the rest are not and are triggering empty pieces.
