Sonar 8.5 Producer: Trouble Deleting Empty Measures

Sonar 8.5 Producer: Trouble Deleting Empty Measures

I've run into a situation that's so frustrating for me. I've selected empty measures that were put at the end of my song by accident, and when attempting to delete them, nothing happens! I'm really confused as to why Sonar will let me insert empty measures, but yet it won't let me delete them. Please help!

    I'm puzzled by how have you inserted empty measures in the end of the song? I realise how you see them in the middle of the song, but in the end? I mean, if there are visible clips, then the measures are not empty, and if there are no clips, what tells you there are measures? In general, though, SONAR can't delete empty measures, as you say. You can add whatever meaningless data in the space, and "cut" (>delete hole" in the middle of the song. AFAIK "Delete hole" does not work in the end of the song, obviously :o)
     
    If you mean that the export-function or playback continues past the end point of the song, that's something SONAR does now and then, and I have never heard of a final, simple solution to that. The workaround is to select the song length in the timeline when exporting.
