Does anyone know if Sonar 8.5 has XML capability?

    Short answer:  No

Long answer:  AFAIK, the only XML capability in Sonar is "MusicXML" for notation and it first appeared in Sonar X2.   MusicXML export is supported from the Staff View, with no import support.

Thanks Squire. I thought that was the case as I couldn't find anything in Sonar Help 8.5, or any obvious way to do it inside Sonar. So it looks like I'm stuck with midi 1 export. I'll see what I can do with that. I found a thread here that shows a good way to do it.
