Sonar 8.5: fretboard assign

I'm writing some mandolin orchestra stuff. I've created some custom fretboards for mandolin, mandola, and mandocello. Here's the problem: If I open Staff View with 4 staves (2 mandolins, mandola, mandocello), there's only 1 fretboard at the bottom and I can't seem to get it to change to the selected track.
I've got the Track Pane open, but selecting a track there doesn't select another fretboard. It seems to default to the top stave only. It will change if I turn 3 of them off and just have one open at a time, but this is unsatisfactory. I've looked all over for the answer and am now out of ideas. I just want the fretboard to show the stave I'm working on. Anyone know anything about multiple fretboards in Staff View? Thanks
