Sonar BIT Bridge Not allowing Lexicon VST2 Plugins to populate.
Hello everyone: I am attempting to use the Lexicon PCM Native Reverb on Sonar Platinum but I get an error indication Main Call issue. The error occurs each time I scan the VST folder: If I enabled the plugin then sonar crashes. According to Tech Support at Lexicon, the issue is caused by Sonar Platinum Bit Bridge. Screen shot:

BitBridge is invoked when loading 32bit plug-ins in 64bit SONAR. Checking the site, there are 64bit versions of the plug-ins which should be used instead of 32bit in 64bit SONAR. That said, the message may not mean much and could be caused by a plug-in scanned before this one. Enable the plug-in and see if there is a problem with it.

Thank you so much for responding. I did install the 64 bit version of the plugin But I encountered this problem every time sonar starts or if I rescanned the VST manually. If I allow the plug in to become enabled then sonar does not even run it crashes every time I try to do something. I also observed something very odd. Even though I installed the 64 bit version of the plugin I noticed that when I enable the plugin in sonar it shows it as 32 bit. Is this normal? Why would Sonar Show a 64 bit plugin as 32 bit?

I have never read a report of a 64bit plug-in being identified as 32bit before this one. I suspect the 32bit version of the plug-in managed to get installed. There have been cases where 32bit plug-in fail in 64bit SONAR. The is even more likely when the manufacturer supplies a 64bit version. I would uninstallm verify all traces of the plug-in are removed and re-install the plug-in.

I have already uninstalled and re installed about a 100 times. I even allowed the lexicon tech support to remote into my machine and do some work to find out what the problem was. They had called me on the phone and ask to remote into my studio computer. I think I am going to install the 32 bit version and see what happens given that the 64 bit version is showing up as 32 bit.

Make sure to do a VST reset and rescan after uninstalling and before reinstalling. No offense to Lexicon support, but unless the tech is a Sonar user, its unlikely he would even think of doing this (often crucial) step.

Is it possible you've specified the same directory for 32bit and 64bit plugins? Perhaps it's installing the 64bit plugin then immediately overwriting it with the 32 bit one? Also, are you running Sonar as administrator? If for some reason the plugin needs access to something that would normally require admin rights (it could be something as simple as writing to a particular directory), this could be confusing the plugin scan.

Yes I am running Sonar as an Admin and I also performed Reset. The Installer is not mixed versions, meaning if you Install 64bit, there are no 32bit involved and it installs at: C:\Program Files\Lexicon\PCM Native Reverb

I did and just an FYI, Lexicon has a Sonar expert on staff, according to them.

This is an Update: I installed the 32BIT and it worked.
I am thinking there is something wrong with their installer or something is missing because the 32bit installer/package is about twice the size of the 64bit. 170MB for 64 and about 230 MB for 32.
Again both are installing into correct directory. 32 into program(x86) C:\Program Files (x86)\Lexicon\PCM Native Reverb And 64 into: C:\Program Files\Lexicon\PCM Native Reverb
