Sonar: Bring back the 'locked clip' padlock icon
This was removed in the last major update in favour of colour dimming. But this is far less noticeable as clips can be different colours for other reasons. The little padlock icon was perfect - please bring it back!

+1. I miss that icon, too.

+2! These little annoyances (e.g. moving the interleave button and only being able to edit one automation envelope at a time) are why I'm still on 8.5. At least make new UI features optional. Even Microsoft made their awful new PlaySkool UI optional.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

Yeah! I always thought someone had a “momentary laps of reason” when this change to the clip mute icon occurred. Please bring it back
I have empirical evidence this is true... (Bender told me!) As others have pointed out, the clips get cluttered (and the icon is small) so not having the icon makes sense in a way...how about something like cross-hatching over a muted clip instead?

Yep I'll go with that. A good improvement indeed

+1 I don't get why that was removed. It was so much clearer and more intuitive when you could see what clips were muted. Hope it comes back as well.
Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I don't understand the request. The latest version of SONAR I use still shows the padlock icon when the clip is locked. Maybe you're talking about the mute icon that was removed in X3?

It would be good to hear from Bakers if mute icon could be back (as an option). Cross-hatching over a muted clip is a great idea too. Bakers please respond.
