Sonar Crashing Upon Closing Project and Reopening Another Project

I am on Windows 10, Sonar X3, and a fairly new and up-to-date home built computer.
 
Here's my problem:  I open Sonar and I open a project.  Everything is fine.  I finish with that project and close it (but do not close Sonar).  When I try to open another project, Sonar crashes.  I get an error message that simply tells me Sonar must close.
 
This happens every time.  It happens whether the second project I am opening is the same one I just closed, or a different project.  It also happens regardless of whether any changes were made to the first project or not.
 
When I close Sonar, I am able to reopen it OK, and can then open a project without any problems.  So the workaround is simply to exit Sonar after the first project has been closed.  Then reopen Sonar and open the second project.  It works, but it's a bit annoying, and shouldn't be necessary.
 
I am at a loss as to what is causing this behavior.  I also get a message after he crash saying I can send details of the crash to the good folks at Cakewalk - but when I try to do this, it fails.  That could be due to the fact that I have no e-mail client on this computer, but I'm not sure.

Thanks. I'm not suspecting plugins, since it happens on every project, regardless of what plugins were used on the project (unless there's one particular one I've coincidentally used on all of my projects). However, since I have no clue what is causing it, who knows.
