Sonar Home Studio 8.5

Is it possible to enter notes to sound like a trombone glissando between notes?

    If what my dictionary defines glissando as is right, I think you can.

    I know that the hardware synths I have have a feature called portamento which is used to provide glissando between notes.  You can control several aspects of the glissando.

    Midi Controller 5 specifies the portamento time.

    As far as I know there is no version 8.5 of Sonar Home Studio.  Did you mean Sonar 8.5 Studio Edition?
