Sonar LE Newbie needs help!

Hi:
I am a newbie to Sonar LE and I need some help.  I have managed to import audio tracks from my Boss BR 800 but when it comes to adding effects, understanding what all the displays are, adding instruments, adding soft synths etc I am lost!  Anyone able to point me in the right direction for some lessons please?  Or better still anyone live in Morley near Leeds willing to give up an hour of their time in exchange for a 4-pack of beer for some basic introduction help - I'd be most grateful.
Cheers

Hi there !

Welcome to the wonderful world of Sonar. The sources for help and information are pretty much limitless depending on how much you are willing to venture into them.

Hopefully you will find some direct help nearby. This forum is all about sharing and helping out. It will be preferable to put out specific areas where you seek direction so that those that are good at that can chip in.

Meanwhile, do check out the manual / user guide that should have been installed in your Cakewalk programs folder along with your LE installation.

Also, this "Get Started" series of videos in Cakewalk's youtube channel will do just that, get you started.

Loads of other youtube videos on Sonar for starters are also available on searching.

There are many Sonar video tutorials available for purchase as well in the Cakewalk store.

All the best and happy music making with Sonar !
