Sonar LE & Ezdrummer

Hi everybody!

I'm having some trouble to insert the EZdrummer sound in Sonar LE. I can listen all the EZD grooves, but when I drag it to Sonar ( I can't hear all the instruments. Seems like can't play all the instrumens together. The Sonar play the groove totaly messy.

I've been trying a lot of things and I really don't know what to do!

I hope someone can help me with that. I'll really appreciate it.

Hugs,

Mauro

Welcome to the forum!
I'm not sure I understand your problem description correctly.
So, you have inserted EZD in SONAR, and you have dragged a MIDI groove to a MIDI track, but the groove is not played back correctly?
Do you mean EZD skips some kitpiece totally (say, snare is never audible) or that some hits here and there are skipped?
"SONAR plays the groove totally messy" - what does it mean? Hits in random order or what??

Not knowing what is happening, I suggest you try doubling the MIDI buffer in "MIDI buffers -  prepare using xx ms buffer".

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

Kalle,
I really don't know how to thank you!
You understood exactly what I needed. The groove was not playing back correctly. I changed the MIDI Buffer to the double, how you said, and now I can hear all the instruments from EZD.
Just one more thing: what are the cosequences doubling the MIDI buffer? Can I have some trouble, like memory problems, doing that?
Thank you so much!
Hugs,
Mauro

Don't worry about it, changing the value is not going to cause any problems. Prior to the X series, SONAR used 500ms as the default. Many users have had to adjust the new default value 250ms to something higher in order to address the dropped notes problem.
