You know , it's windows, all windows software works the same. You need to tell it where you want stuff to go and make folders etc. Just opening software and hitting save will result in it going to hidden folder on your C drive .
First as said above set your pathways to the drive your using to store data.
This makes life easier.
Your audio folder should always be inside the Project folder now as that is the default. In the past we had to check the "per project" box. If your using a older version this might be why you have a problem now.
If the audio isn't there then perform a "save as" and check that copy audio box.
This will resolve the issue ( if you know where the audio is)
Always check the little box that say's copy audio with project when using "save as"
Never use the global audio folder.
